PROJECT SYNOPSIS

The National project RoMoLO (Italian acronym for “Modular Robots for Hospital Logistics”) is supported by the Italian Ministry for Economic Development, under EU-funded Actions for R&D in the areas included in the Horizon 2020 Framework Programme for Research and Innovation. RoMoLo aims at developing robotics systems able to work in hospitals logistics. A mobile robot will drive vehicles carrying linen, medicines, telepresence systems. The ICAROS Center participates to this project involving researchers in medicine and engineering. The industrial partner is the company OCIMA srl, active in industrial automation machines and systems.
