PREPARE
PROJECT SYNOPSIS
The project aims to develop an innovative diagnostic and prognostic strategy for familial prostate cancer by leveraging artificial intelligence and precision medicine. The goal is to overcome the limitations of current prevention and diagnostic methods, such as PSA testing and prostate biopsy, by identifying new biomarkers through advanced sequencing technologies. By utilizing a “big data” approach, clinical, imaging, and genomic data will be analyzed to create a novel molecular test. The creation of an integrated web-based platform will support precision medicine in oncology, enhancing patient monitoring and treatment through wearable and environmental devices, ensuring optimal nutritional, physical, and pharmacological status. The project is aimed at developing the following general lines: 1. Integrated tools, technologies, medical imaging, biotechnology, and digital solutions for human health and care, including AI, mobile solutions, and telemedicine; while addressing, where appropriate and from the early stages, aspects related to cost-effective manufacturing in order to optimize the industrialization phase and innovation potential to arrive at an affordable medicinal product; 2. Pilot projects, optimization and acquisition of innovation of health and care technologies and tools in real-world settings including clinical trials, implementation research including personalized medicine-based diagnostics.
